POCs Which Meet FAA Regulations

There’s confusion over what POCs meet FAA regulations and which don’t. We give a brief explanation and a link to the FAA website that explains further.  

When portable oxygen concentrators (POCs) were first approved for use on airplanes, the FAA kept a list and approved the POCs themselves. They changed that policy and new regulations set forth what manufacturers had to do to be compliant with the regulations. Even though the FAA’s list still exists, it hasn’t been updated since August of 2016. Click here to go to the FAA’s website explaining this change.

Below is a list of FDA-approved POCs that meet the FAA’s regulations for flying. We have ordered this list alphabetically by manufacturer, then within that list alphabetically by POC name.
